Dairy Industry Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive professional to fill the role of Supplier Relationship Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with farmers, facilitating communication across all levels of the business, and identifying new supplier arrangements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly with various stakeholders, and a strong understanding of the dairy industry. Self-motivation is essential due to the significant autonomy required in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of farm-related challenges and serve as the primary point of contact between suppliers and our organization.
- Implement CSR emissions reduction projects on supplier farms.
- Support farmers in resolving milk quality issues.
- Manage routine tasks including coordinating issue resolution, assisting investigations, and providing accurate information to management.
- Coordinate win-win outcomes with suppliers and our organization to enhance loyalty.
- Recruit supplies when required through retention and recruitment projects to meet raw milk volume targets.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience building customer relationships, knowledge of the dairy industry, and excellent communication skills. A diploma or degree in Agriculture is desirable, but a relationship manager with experience and a keen interest in dairy is ideal.
