Staff Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the technical direction of our organization, influencing everything from customer-facing platforms to critical internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve technical strategy across medium to complex engineering initiatives.
  • Lead strategic programs of work, including proof-of-concept development.
  • Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across teams.
  • Champion engineering best practices and mentor other engineers.
  • Guide teams through complex troubleshooting and system design challenges.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and uplift.

Requirements:

• Strong background in backend application development using TypeScript and REST APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of OAuth2 and MTLS.

• Proficiency in serverless computing using AWS (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, IAM Roles & Policy, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB).

• Familiarity with database concepts: relational databases, data warehousing, and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or SST.

• Proven track record in working in a DevOps environment and contributing to the CI/CD pipeline.

• Working knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, and software programming best practices.

• Familiarity with pub-sub and streaming technologies like SQS, SNS, Kafka, and Kinesis.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Observe and CloudWatch.

• Background in performance tuning for high-throughput and resilient applications.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

• Interest in AI technologies and tooling enhancements will be valued.

• Test automation experience, including unit, integration, acceptance, and performance testing in APIs.
