About the Role

This is a key leadership position in the Enterprise Technology (ETech) team responsible for delivering technology solutions that empower employees. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our internal applications ecosystem, working closely with other engineering leaders to deliver seamless staff experiences.

You will lead by example, contributing to solution design, improving application workflows and championing a product mindset across our tooling landscape. With a strong focus on deep application integration, process automation and the adoption of AI-driven solutions, this role is critical to enabling great user experiences and effective service delivery across the organisation.

This is a challenging yet rewarding technical leadership role that combines strategy, architecture, people management and delivery. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering integrated application experiences that support staff productivity and efficiency.
  • Anticipating industry trends and working with stakeholders to develop SaaS solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensuring reliability, scalability and security of critical business platforms.
  • Designing and implementing AI and automation strategies and solutions across our internal application environment.
  • Driving high levels of adoption and satisfaction across the internal toolset.
  • Leading the implementation of knowledge management strategies and rollout of new knowledge platforms.
  • Embedding data retention and governance practices into platform and process design.
  • Supporting and growing a high-performing team of engineers.
