This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to lead youth engagement and mental health awareness activities across Kalgoorlie and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will coordinate events, support the Youth Advisory Board, drive health promotion campaigns, and represent us in the community. You'll foster strong connections with young people, families, schools, local services, and the wider community.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in health promotion, youth work, community development, social/behavioural sciences or similar
  • Experience engaging young people and coordinating events or programs
  • Knowledge of the mental health sector and youth-related issues
  • A strong understanding of working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, and LGBTIQA+ young people
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills
  • Confidence using social media and digital tools to promote services
  • The ability to develop and deliver engaging, inclusive community initiatives
  • A valid driver's licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and First Aid Certificate
