This is a high-impact position where you will build and lead the end-to-end commercial acquisition function across our business, targeting contracts with government departments, educational institutions, and corporate customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the commercial team's acquisition capability from the ground up
- Identify and pursue procurement and tender opportunities across government and enterprise sectors
- Coordinate the preparation of responses for RFQs, RFPs, and other tender formats
- Develop pricing models and commercial strategies aligned with business profitability targets
- Ensure all responses meet compliance, legal, and submission requirements
- Manage internal workflows and documentation to support timely and accurate submissions
- Track tender outcomes, report on performance, and implement improvements to increase win rates
- Collaborate with broader departments to drive commercial outcomes
- Support commercial project delivery across logistics, fulfillment, and customer service functions
Requirements:
- University degree qualified in a relevant field (commerce, business, or similar)
- Experience in commercial sales, business development, or account management
- Experience in government or B2B procurement processes — tender experience preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organized, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Proactive, with a mindset geared towards building and improving internal processes
- Confident working cross-functionally to support commercial outcomes across departments
- Skilled in preparing high-quality tender responses, with a solid understanding of compliance and legal requirements
