We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in Gladstone. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our client's assets safely and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants to ensure efficient and effective treatment of wastewater.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and machinery.
- Initiate and participate in safety initiatives to promote a zero-harm culture.
- Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to achieve operational goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Certification in Water Operations (Water Treatment) or equivalent.
- Open QBCC Plumbers License.
- Current Open Driver's License.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A or CPCCWHS1001).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to safe working practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
