About the Role

We are seeking experienced boilermakers to join our Operations Services Maintenance team in QLD. As a boilermaker with BHP, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment, including fixed plant structures. You will also be involved in general fabrication repairs and replacements, as well as carrying out preventative, general maintenance, and repairs. Our team operates in a fast-paced environment, and we require individuals who are able to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

About You

  • Australian recognised trade certificate – (Boilermaker/Fabricator)
  • Previous experience working in fixed plant maintenance
  • Experience with Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) is highly regarded
  • A high safety focus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate in team operations
  • Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • C Class Drivers Licence mandatory
