Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable
    Maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely payments and reconcile bank statements regularly.
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Review daily cash balance and maintain cash flow projections Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet business needs.
  • Payroll and Reporting
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist department heads with payroll costs Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Inventories and Controls
  • Manage inventory and stocktake Implement effective internal control procedures to prevent loss or theft.
  • Contract and Services Register
  • Manage contract and services register Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role or 2 years finance experience in a hotel environment Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Able to produce quality output under tight deadlines Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • High attention to detail, task prioritisation and time management Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Full unrestricted work rights in Australia Eligible to work in Australia without restriction.
