FRP Project Supervisor

Whittens is seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our project team on a FRP project in NSW, working on a 2/1 FIFO roster.
The successful candidate will provide onsite supervisory coordination and oversight of the construction workforce, ensuring all construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Project management to champion a culture of high performance onsite
- Demonstrate strong and visible supervisor skills through effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Provide input into the manning schedule to ensure adequately skilled and qualified candidates are planned for the project
- Ensure agreed work program requirements are met for each component of the project and report variances to Senior Project Manager
- Support the Construction Manager, Superintendent and Engineers to formulate, review and monitor work program(s) and programs for each section of work to be completed
- Monitor costs within your remit, particularly direct costs of plant and labour ensuring optimisation of available resources
- Previous experience as a Formwork Supervisor with a Civil contractor
- Previous experience with FRP infrastructure projects
- Experience in using DOKA formwork systems is a definite advantage
- Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO/DIDO capacity
- Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
- Demonstrated safety and environmental behaviour
- Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience managing direct labour, subcontractors and plant crews
- Flexible and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to problem solve
