Welcome to IBN Corporation, a charitable organisation dedicated to advancing the social, economic and cultural wellbeing of our Members. We deliver a broad range of programs and services across key areas such as health, education, housing, culture, enterprise development and employment.

Our head office is located in South Hedland, Western Australia, approximately 350 kilometres north of the Mining Area C Project, with additional offices in Perth, Tom Price and Karratha.

We are currently seeking a Project Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation and make a lasting impact on the lives of our Members and the wider community.

About the Role
  • Provide administrative support to a range of projects, initiatives, services or systems to deliver on our strategy and outcomes.
  • Organise meetings, forums and events, including invitations, venue and travel booking, equipment, catering, room set up and meeting correspondence.
  • Provide customer service to members and stakeholders.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update corporate records and coordinate mail services.
  • Support travel and accommodation bookings and coordination of fleet.
  • Reviews tasks and administrative procedures to identify and implement improvements.

The successful candidate will have proven time management and organisational skills, experience with a diverse workload within time constraints to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Ability to work with Aboriginal people and demonstrate an understanding of Aboriginal Australian culture.
  • Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
