Job Title: Technical Specialist

Summary:

  • To manage the setup, configuration and support of software applications within customer environments for use in tests, training, exercises and actual operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage software installation, configuration and support in the customer's C4I environments.
  • Setup and test integrations between C41 software products and coalition systems, sensors, effectors and communication systems.
  • Design, implement and support technical solutions.
  • Ensure alignment, effective communication and coordination between stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to customer administrators and users.
  • Provide level 1 and 2 support to customers on C41 software products, installation, integration with other software and equipment, and to end-users.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of C4 software product roadmaps to maximise value for customers.
  • Support project delivery within agreed scope and timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure and platforms such as Windows, Linux Andriod based operating systems, Active Director, database management systems, XMPP chat.
  • Experience in deploying software applications into cloud-based and on-premises environments.
  • Knowledge of administration and operation of military command information systems, tactical radio devices and radio networks, and ITIL (desirable).
  • NV1 Security Clearance.
