Job Description:

  • Lead national contracts and manage key customer relationships to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with safety standards, and promote business excellence.
  • Drive business analysis and development, including profitability reviews, rate negotiations, and new business proposals to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Champion continuous improvement by streamlining reporting and operational processes, eliminating waste, and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external customer representatives, and industry partners to achieve mutual benefits.
  • Oversee human resources and industrial relations performance, ensuring teams are trained, competent, and aligned with organizational values.
  • Promote a safe working environment, ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures, and foster a culture of well-being.
  • Act as the key contact for customers on contract and service-related matters, ensuring service excellence and contract compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Several years' experience in logistics, business management, and leadership roles, ideally in a national or multi-site capacity.
  • Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance across diverse operations, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Experience with SAP and warehouse and transport systems, with a solid understanding of operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • A degree in business management, accounting, or economics (desired), along with a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
  • A passion for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, with a focus on driving business excellence and achieving strategic objectives.
