Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Technician

This role is an opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results in a safe and responsible manner.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working on heavy mobile equipment, including hydraulic excavators, drills, draglines, electric rope shovels and other mine site equipment. They will be required to inspect, diagnose, service and repair this equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Inspecting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning equipment;
  • Conducting scheduled inspections and maintenance activities;
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes;

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work at heights.

Requirements:

  • Current Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;
  • Demonstrated experience working on heavy mobile equipment;
  • Current Australian Drivers License (HR or similar);
  • Additional Equipment Tickets desirable.
