Workforce Allocator

We are seeking an experienced workforce allocator to join our professional services team. This role plays a pivotal part in optimising resource allocation, maintaining data integrity and ensuring operational visibility through analytics.
The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio leaders and the head of professional services to ensure resources are deployed effectively and aligned with skill requirements and utilisation targets across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Guide and assist portfolio leaders with understanding their resource allocation across multiple projects and teams.
- Develop clear insights, trend analysis and forecasting capacity shortages.
- Develop and maintain resource forecasts to anticipate demand and address constraints or gaps for long- and short-term planning.
- Cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Conduct regular audits of project system data to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- 3-5 years' experience in resource coordination, workforce planning or project operations.
- Strong excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis techniques.
- A strong analytical mindset with experience translating data into operational insights.
- Ability to identify patterns, predict risks and solve resource-related challenges.
