About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the hospital's enterprise-grade network and associated equipment. They will work closely with IT Operations Management to ensure maximum availability of DHS services and contribute to the development and maintenance of these services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage large-scale network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wireless LAN, and VoIP systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of DHS services to ensure maximum availability
  • Collaborate with IT Operations Management to ensure smooth operation of the network and associated equipment

Requirements

  1. CCNA and CCNP certifications and/or additional industry-based certifications with experience in DNAC.SDA/Fabric
  2. Proven experience in management and troubleshooting within a complex networking environment
  3. In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, Wireless LAN, and VoIP
  4. Able to manage on-call requirements and participate in a rotational on-call system

The NSW Government offers a competitive salary range of $104,035 - $124,064 per year, depending on experience.
