Spinal Injury Support Assistant

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support for an individual with a spinal injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance
  • Providing community access and other aspects of daily living
  • Working in collaboration with the care team to achieve goals and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Manual handling skills and ability to lift and transfer clients
  • Bowel therapy experience
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will work on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7AM - 5PM, with multiple short shifts available starting from 7AM - 11AM.

Licences and Certifications:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • National Police Certificate (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)
