We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Personal Support Worker.

About the Role
  • As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide direct assistance to clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.
Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Transferring clients in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
  • Basic wound care and self-medication
  • Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)
  • Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A fixed fortnightly roster is available (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
  • A current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
  • Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Experience in the field, and/or relevant qualifications (training provided)
  • A smartphone device
