About the Role:

  • You'll be responsible for both FIT and Group bookings and co-ordination of Groups.
  • Sourcing new business, quoting, converting leads, planning, execution and being the dedicated liaison between customer and the resort.
  • You will maximise short and long term performance in line with the annual business and strategic sales and marketing revenue plan as well as assisting the global footprint.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of standard reservation procedures including correct forms to use, e-mail, messages, and how to interpret availability sources within the reservation systems.
  2. Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary.
  3. Stay one step ahead of guests' needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns.
  4. Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay.
  5. Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.
  6. Log all guest complaints into duty logs, guest profile notes and ensure that management are aware of any existing or potential guest issues.
  7. Complete check-in and check-out guests from Property Management System Opera through the telephone.
