We are looking for a passionate Reservations Consultant to join our Reservations Team. This is a role that promises varied work and responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to try out our renowned tours. Preference will be given to the applicant who is dedicated to developing their skills and knowledge and can demonstrate exceptional Customer Service standards.
What we offer:
• Full time hours, ongoing contract
• Monday – Friday, 9.00AM – 5.00PM working days (Saturday's may also be required)

• Role based in Byron Bay office and we welcome remote applicants preferably on VIC/NSW or QLD time zones.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the reservation enquiries from a number of channels (Phone, Email, Live Chat & a variation of different Travel Agencies, including OTA's)
• Book all tours in via platforms such as Operator Hub, Rezdy, Website Travel, & Hero to provide confirmation for bookings to agents & customers
• Deal with questions, concerns, and general feedback for our tours via phone and email
• Manage multiple inboxes, phones and live chats at the same time
• Must demonstrate proven ability to effectively manage multiple communication channels simultaneously whilst maintaining service quality
• Liaise with Tour Guides for any specific requests
• Understand the tours inside-out to ensure accurate deliverance of information
• Maintain a good understanding of our agent and supplier relationships
• General administrative tasks to ensure smooth flow of operations & organisation
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 years' experience working in a Reservations role or Travel Agency
• Knowledge of Operator Hub, Website Travel, Hero or Rezdy preferable
• Knowledge of our products and itineraries desirable
• Maintain a 'can-do' approach to problem-solving and multi-tasking
• Must be a team player with an organised work ethic
• Have a keen eye for detail and outstanding communication skills
• Must have impeccable phone and email etiquette
• Excellent written and verbal English capabilities
• Previous sales experience will be highly regarded
• Must have advanced IT capabilities
• Must be an Australian permanent resident
