Electrical Project Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an Electrical Project Leader to lead our electrical projects from design through to commissioning. The successful candidate will have strong technical capability, project leadership experience and a willingness to travel to site when required.

  • Leading End-to-End Electrical Project Delivery: The Electrical Project Leader will be responsible for leading end-to-end electrical project delivery, from design through to commissioning.
  • Managing a Team: The successful candidate will manage a team of Electrical Project Engineers and mentor junior team members.
  • Developing Engineering Documentation: The Electrical Project Leader will develop and review engineering documentation to meet technical, safety and regulatory standards.
  • Supporting Procurement and Commissioning Activities: The successful candidate will support procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning and quality assurance activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Electrical Project Leader will work cross-functionally with internal teams, clients and vendors to drive successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in Electrical Engineering (CPEng eligibility ideal).
  • 5+ Years Experience: 5+ years of experience in brownfield infrastructure projects, ideally in energy, generation or heavy industry.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading or guiding engineering teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: A confident communicator and collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Australian Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering governance.
