Job Title: Signalling and Electrical Project Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Signalling and Electrical Project Leader to lead our team of electrical specialists on a large-scale project in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, managing the Electrical team and subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and optimizing project resources to achieve deliverables and milestones.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong leadership skills, outstanding planning and organisational abilities, and experience working within a brownfield railway signalling environment. Knowledge of software tools and technical systems is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical, 5+ years of experience in Railway signalling, and 5+ years of experience in a similar role. They must also possess Cert IV in Electrical or Signalling and demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and functional construction documentation
  • Managing the Electrical team and subcontractors to deliver the project plan
  • Coodinating all site activities for all electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan
  • Optimizing project resources (internal or external, including subcontractors) to achieve project deliverables and milestones
  • Collaborating with the Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) team to define HSE requirements for site in accordance with the HSE Management Plan for the project
