Role Overview

This role involves providing immunisation services to protect the health of our community. Immunisation nurses play a vital part in assisting with the provision of our immunisation program, including statutory obligations and policies.

We are looking for a nurse who is committed to upholding our values and continually strives to improve their skills in customer service and clinical practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Registered Nurse Division 1, Immunisation Accredited
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience of local government immunisation procedures and policies, National Immunisation Program and the Australian Immunisation Handbook
  • Ability to make informed clinical decisions and confidently manage immunisation-related risks and enquiries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including educating, influencing and responding to challenging questions and scenarios
  • Availability and flexibility to work daytime and evening immunisation sessions across various locations
