Servicing the Education and Research Community as a Senior Information Professional

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Librarian to lead our Education and Research Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration with faculty members to provide expert advice on information literacy, copyright, collections, and access for new university courses.
  • Design and deliver workshop programs and resources that teach core information literacy concepts and knowledge, training students in literature searching, referencing, and information management skills.
  • Provide personalized research consultations and individual support to academic staff and postgraduate research students.
  • Develop and implement innovative projects to enhance library processes and services, aligning with the strategic priorities of the organization.
Requirements:
  • A relevant degree qualification granting eligibility for Associate level membership of ALIA, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling effective engagement and partnership building with clients.
  • Experience in designing and overseeing innovative information literacy/fluency and/or research support programs.
