Medical Information Specialist Role
The role of a Medical Information Specialist is pivotal in our organization's Medical Affairs team, where they provide accurate and well-balanced responses to internal and external medical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver precise and balanced responses to medical inquiries
Develop and maintain standard responses for marketed products and therapeutic areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on relevant medical information
Manage systems and processes for Medical Information
Act as primary local liaison with the Global Medical Information team
About You:
Degree qualified in medicine, pharmacy, nursing or other life sciences
At least 1-2 years' experience in medical information or a relevant medical/scientific role
Proven ability to understand, analyze and communicate complex scientific, clinical, pharmacology and medical issues
Proficiency in literature search and technical writing
Knowledge of information retrieval and dissemination processes
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail and proven organizational and time management skills
This full-time position is based in St Leonards, reporting directly to the Medical Affairs Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
