Meetings and Events Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Meetings and Events Operations Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of meetings and events at The Sebel Brisbane. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery and guest satisfaction by coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless execution of events, including catering, audiovisual setup, and room arrangements. This role involves supervising a team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning and execution of meetings and events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of events.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in event planning software and familiarity with audiovisual equipment and setups is desirable.
