We are a leading insurance provider seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Account Executive based in Melbourne.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, with a focus on managing a fleet-centric portfolio of clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the principal to strategize and execute client-related activities, providing valuable insights and support.
  • Respond promptly to new business inquiries, preparing proposals and presentations to secure new clients.
  • Contribute to the renewal process and provide data governance, including administering compliance controls and training.
  • Conduct thorough client file audits to meet insurer and internal governance requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of premiums and resolving any outstanding debts.

Requirements:

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualified or Diploma of Insurance Broking.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in insurance broking.
  • Proficiency in Excel.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with large fleets or novated leases insurance would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with bordereau management.
  • Background in complaints handling.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
