About the Role:
Our organization seeks a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our laboratory team on a 12-month contract.
This position requires a collaborative individual who can combine analytical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure our products meet quality standards.
- As a key member of our team, you will report regularly to the Lab Manager on laboratory functioning, equipment requirements, and consumable budget within the laboratory area.
- You will manage your own testing schedule to align with product specifications and production timelines.
- Provide scientific support to quality and research and development projects.
- Conduct routine quality control testing with precision and accuracy.
- Investigate non-conforming results with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Identify and address potential compliance risks in the laboratory environment.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in chemistry or a related science discipline.
- 2-3+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or similar industry.
- Strong background in analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting.
- Confident with instrument software/hardware and IT troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize in a busy laboratory environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders.
