Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Quality Assurance Specialist. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our testing methods align with best practice ICT frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test scripts using existing tools as per project requirements.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialisms, providing sound advice on test planning and execution.
  • Review technical and business design requirements, identifying alternative solutions.
  • Define risk-based and requirements-based testing scope to ensure solution fitness.
  • Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including mentoring team members and providing peer reviews, training, and support.
  • Provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on projects to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test reports in large, complex IM/ICT environments.
  • Experience in specifying and developing test scenarios to ensure user acceptance, recording, and analyzing test results, and reporting unexpected outcomes.
  • Able to provide expert advice in relevant testing techniques and methods for large-scale organisations.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with experience in assessing and evaluating technical requirements within complex environments.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including negotiation, advising, influencing others, and collaborative working.
