Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key player in driving quality and efficiency through testing and automation, you will play a vital role in embedding effective test automation technologies and practices across our technology solutions.

You will collaborate closely with the Test Manager to establish and integrate test automation within our Scrum workflow and build processes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in building and executing automated test regimes using CI/CD methodologies, UI functional automation using tools like Playwright and Selenium WebDriver, and experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.

Additionally, you will be skilled in testing REST API using Postman and writing automation scripts for REST API tests. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computing Science or Mathematics is required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a test automation role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend test automation technology selection and strategy
  • Drive quality and efficiency through testing and automation
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members
  • Work independently with a high degree of autonomy

Requirements:

  • Expert technical proficiency with UI functional automation
  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber and continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo
  • Skilled in testing REST API using Postman
  • Ability to communicate clearly and analytically
  • Passion for driving quality through testing and automation
