Skilled Workplace Relations Professional

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial relations, human resources or a related field. They will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the business on all workplace relations matters.
This is a key leadership role within our organization and will require the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, technical specialists and operational managers to drive positive change and improve our workplace relations practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a strategic approach to workplace relations across the business.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on industrial instruments, legislation and company policies.
- Implement changes necessitated by law reforms, Awards and enterprise agreement updates.
- Support enterprise bargaining and change management processes.
- Engage in the maintenance of internal resource libraries relevant to workplace relations.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting, as well as coaching and advising on all matters related to workplace relations.
- Tertiary graduate or post-graduate degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations/Workplace Relations or related field.
- Proven capability in Workplace Relations, contributing to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Experience in improving the capability of others in resolving workplace relations issues.
- Able to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders, technical specialists, operational managers and union officials.
- Proven ability to convert information and data into knowledge, and to communicate that knowledge in a meaningful and useful way.
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands with a client-focussed and outcomes-centred approach.
