We are seeking an experienced professional to manage employee relations issues and investigations, providing expert advice, coaching, and investigation support to line leaders and HR team members.
- Manage employee relations issues and investigations, providing fast-paced and high-quality ER advice, coaching, and investigation support to line leaders and HR team members.
- Conduct end-to-end investigations into various ER matters, including grievances, bullying, harassment, fraud, or misconduct cases.
- Prepare documents and responses for matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals.
- Represent our organisation at conciliations and dispute matters in the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals.
- Manage complex matters involving ill and injured team members.
- Support EA negotiations with employee and union bargaining representatives.
- Provide leaders with training, recommendations, coaching, and advice on legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor industry trends, legislative updates, and tribunal decisions to inform proactive, compliant, and effective workplace relations strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Experience within human resources generalist, employee, and industrial relations professional positions across medium to large-sized organisations.
- Proven background in managing or supporting investigations into misconduct, grievances, or protected disclosures.
- Excellent coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant ER/IR legislation within different jurisdictions and application in policy.
- Strong communication skills and relationship-building skills are essential, as is a commercial orientation.
- Effective time management and the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive cases.
- Previous exposure to the successful implementation of replacement enterprise agreements across organisations.
