Job Overview

The Senior Human Resources Officer plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization, overseeing various human resource functions to drive business outcomes.

This key position is responsible for delivering high-quality HR services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert HR guidance on complex people matters, including interpreting relevant policy frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives, projects, and policies to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Make informed decisions and communicate effectively to ensure alignment with organizational goals, operating instructions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll variations, trial pay processing, recruitment activities, job advertising, applicant responses, and new starter paperwork.
  • Coordinate staff inductions, update HR policies, and manage status reports for HR and other reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve annual work plan deliverables, projects, and business process improvements, researching better practice, legislation, and government policy.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities are also essential, along with experience in HR management and a deep understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
