Strategic Business Development and Marketing Leader

About the Role
  • Provide strategic leadership to drive business development and marketing strategies that enhance service offerings, expand partnerships, and foster revenue diversification.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to increase health services, referral networks, and funding sources.
  • Lead market analysis to inform service innovation, growth, and revenue expansion.
  • Oversee integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for hospitals and clinics.
  • Strengthen the Macquarie University Health brand and ensure alignment with the university's master brand.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLINICIANS, REFERRERS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

  • Manage external vendors and marketing ROI reporting.
  • LEAD, MENTOR, AND INSPIRE A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING PROFESSIONALS.

  • With sustained senior experience in business development and/or marketing in the healthcare sector, you bring:
    • PROVEN SUCCESS IN DRIVING GROWTH STRATEGIES AND BRAND TRANSFORMATION.
    • STRONG COMMUNICATION, COLLABORATION, NEGOTIATION, AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT SKILLS.
    • ABILITY TO THINK STRATEGICALLY, MAKE DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS, AND BALANCE COMPETING PRIORITIES.
    • AN ESTABLISHED NETWORK OF CLINICIANS, REFERRERS, VENDORS, AND PARTNERS WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR.
    • A COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP STYLE WITH A COMMITMENT TO MISSION-DRIVEN, PATIENT-CENTERED CARE.
    • RELEVANT TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS IN MARKETING, BUSINESS, ADMINISTRATION, OR HEALTH MANAGEMENT (OR EXTENSIVE EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE).
