**Job Overview**

CSC Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Compliance Specialist to fill this challenging role.

As a key member of the Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring risk and compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, as well as in-house policies and procedures. Your duties will include:

  • Acting as the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for CSC entities;
  • Providing independent sound risk & compliance advice and support on client acceptance based on company and group policies, local legislation, rules, and industry practice;
  • Liaising with local regulators and conducting regular review of client entities, transaction monitoring, processing & clearance of suspicious hits, and thematic reviews;
  • Liaising and dealing with Internal Audit inspections or enquiries;
  • Conducting risk & compliance investigations pertaining to incidents, complaints, or administration issues where required;
  • Conducting risk & compliance induction to new staff and providing ongoing risk & compliance training to existing staff;
  • Preparing relevant risk & compliance management information & reports;
  • Participating in ad hoc risk & compliance related projects;

**Key Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance;
  • Solid experience in managing risk & compliance framework in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements;
  • Preferably with experience in trust/corporate/fund administration services/financial industry;
  • Sound knowledge of local regulations including both Australia and New Zealand rules and regulations AML qualifications (ACAMs or equivalent);
  • Strong organization and time management skills;
  • Ability to independently and effectively work with different stakeholders;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English. A second language will be an advantage;
  • Independent, meticulous, pro-active, attentive to details, self-motivated, outspoken, keen to learn, and capable of meeting new challenges with excellent communication skills.
