Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our mobile mining earthmoving and ancillary plant equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including regular servicing and inspections to extend equipment lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of lubricant usage and machine hours for each piece of equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and efficient maintenance practices.
  • Identify and report faults/defects, completing service reports using standardized procedures.
  • Operate a forklift as required.
  • Implement product improvement plans to drive excellence in equipment maintenance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Australian Drivers Licence (Ligh Rigid or Medium Rigid)
  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Technology trade certificate with post-trade experience
  • High Risk Work Licence: Forklift (FL), Dogging (DG), Rigging (RG), Working at Heights (WAH), Confined Spaces (CSE)
  • Strong computer literacy and verbal/written communication skills
  • Experience in maintenance servicing of heavy equipment (mobile plant/ancillary)
  • Excellent customer service and safety-focused approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
