About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter with experience in crushing and screening equipment to join our team on a casual basis. The role involves working in a FIFO/DIDO environment, based in the Goldfields of Western Australia.

You will be working hands-on with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, and late-model earthmoving equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients' operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mobile crushing, screening and late model earthmoving equipment.
  • Perform component changeouts and fault diagnosis.
  • Work with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Provide field service across client mine and quarry sites.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate repair schedules and prioritise work.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Follow all safety protocols and compliance procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the mining industry. Essential skills include hands-on experience with jaw and cone crushers, screens, and conveyors. Strong mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills are also required.
