The Opportunity
This role is for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our national HR team on a 12-month contract, based in Melbourne. As a key member of the team, you will provide strategic HR support and guidance to our leadership and employees, contributing to the success and growth of our business.
Your Responsibilities
- Coach and support stakeholders to build high-performing teams through talent management and development initiatives.
- Act as the primary contact for key stakeholders on employee relations matters.
- Collaborate with teams to align people strategies with group goals, including talent, performance, and remuneration reviews.
- Identify improvements to HR policies and practices, ensuring effective communication and implementation.
- Partner with firm leadership to deliver HR initiatives that support business objectives and foster a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with HR centres of excellence to maintain a consistent employee experience.
- Contribute to the implementation of initiatives that advance our strategic plan.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in delivering strategic HR initiatives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels.
- Expertise in employee relations, talent management, and change management.
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, policies, and legal compliance.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within the legal or professional services sector desirable, but not essential.
