Role Overview

This role is an exceptional opportunity to lead the way in shaping credit decisions for our Health customers.

We are seeking a seasoned credit professional with experience in large Health or commercial customer segments.

The ideal candidate will have significant credit approval authority and be able to assess complex financials, structure deals, and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and structure complex commercial submissions from the Health portfolio.
  • Exercise delegated approval authority to ensure deals are sound and aligned with policies and pricing standards.
  • Collaborate with Retail and Business Bank teams and Risk to ensure loans are signed off efficiently and effectively.
  • Partner with Relationship teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to credit policy and strategic initiatives.
  • Support business growth and our purpose of building social capital through banking.
About You
  • A seasoned credit professional with expertise in assessing complex financials and mitigating risk.
  • Strong customer focus and collaborative mindset; clear, empathetic communication as a trusted advisor.
  • Curious, inclusive, and capable of cross-divisional collaboration to achieve best outcomes for customers.
