The Australian Electoral Commission is an independent statutory authority established by the Australian Government to maintain an impartial and independent electoral system.

You will join a highly motivated and collaborative team working in the Enterprise Transformation Group. The group is comprised of two Divisions: the Chief Information Officer Division and the Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Division.

The Indigo Delivery Branch is part of the Chief Information Officer Division and is responsible for:

- Agile Delivery Teams - multidisciplinary teams building, refining, and deploying solutions to re-engineer business processes and replace aging systems with modern technologies.

- Systems Team - multidisciplinary teams building the Agile development environment and enabling the ADTs, including developing and maintaining the continuous delivery pipeline and facilitating deployment and releases.

This is a dynamic environment where you will work closely with Directors, Assistant Commissioners, First Assistant Commissioners, and other areas across the Enterprise Transformation Group.

As a Program Coordinator, you will support Program and Delivery Directors and Managers to deliver the Indigo Program. This includes providing administrative support, collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders, and ensuring rigorous program reporting and record keeping.

To excel, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a project management or business administration role.
  • Experience managing high volumes of work with competing priorities and delivering high-quality work to agreed standards and timeframes.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and levels of seniority.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships, using professional judgement to communicate decisions and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven analytical abilities and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Confidence and ability to work autonomously, with a commitment to working harmoniously within a team.
  • Proficiency in using IT tools to maintain project records and information.
