Electoral Education Opportunity

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is an independent statutory authority established to maintain an impartial and independent electoral system for eligible voters. As a key member of the Electoral Education section, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all people are informed about the process of voting in federal elections and referendums.

The Electoral Education team delivers innovative and high-quality programs that are inclusive, accessible, and engaging. You will support the delivery of education and schools programs, including education and professional development and learning for teachers.

The role involves providing administrative support to the NEEC Coordinator in daily operations, managing multiple competing priorities, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholder groups. To excel, you'll have:

  • Professional experience delivering education or training sessions in an engaging way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate strategically with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities with flexibility.
