Job Title: Group Compliance Auditor

Job Summary:

Regional Express is seeking a suitably qualified and motivated individual to join our Human Factors Group as a Group Compliance Auditor. This is a full-time position based in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal and third-party airport, flight operations, and quality audits.
  • Prepare checklists for use in both internal and external audits.
  • Review applicable legislative changes and recommend updates to audit checklists.
  • Arrange and chair audit entry/exit meetings.
  • Lead and assist in audits.
  • Write audit reports.
  • Monitor the receipt of and follow-up on corrective action responses within the timeframe identified in the Group Audit Manual.
  • Assist the Group Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the Audit Schedule, applicable data, and analysis tools.
  • Investigate safety-related events and report results to the applicable Safety Management Group.
  • Manage open engineering findings.
  • Monitor the receipt of and follow-up on flight operations/ground operations RCA responses within the timeframe identified on the RCA.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Group Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager.

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in aviation or flight operations (highly desirable).
  • Experience and/or qualifications as a Lead Auditor (desirable).
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of engineering procedures and practices and have a good working knowledge of the CASA regulations, standards, and documents.
  • Ability to research, interpret, and assess compliance against a range of legislation, policies, and company procedures.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to confidently engage and liaise with a range of subject matter experts from across various elements/functions of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to facilitate the effective dissemination of information.
  • Excellent level of analytical and report writing skills with a focus on providing well-researched recommendations.
  • Well-developed IT skills (particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Ability to work either independently or as part of a team in order to achieve a recognizable and measurable outcome.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A high attention to detail.
