Housing Team Lead

As a housing team lead, you will oversee the daily functioning of the shelter site and ensure that all room inspections and follow-ups are completed according to schedule. You will model important work habits and set the tone for each shift.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and support to staff and residents in our housing programs.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff and residents when the Site Supervisor is not available.
  • Handling incidents in a supportive manner while de-escalating appropriately.

You will assist with all aspects of resident support plan development and delivery of services, including performing wellness checks and assisting residents with activities such as room cleans and laundry.

Key Qualifications
  • A Diploma in a related human or social services field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years recent related experience.
