About the Role:
\We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will work with families who are experiencing high levels of stress and difficulties that impact on parenting, family life and children's wellbeing.
\The Family Services Program provides supportive services to families through assertive outreach and home-based support initiatives. As a Family Support Specialist, you will utilize a strengths-based approach to establish relationships with new families, conduct thorough assessments, develop personalized plans to support family goals, consult with relevant stakeholders, and participate in reflective practice meetings to discuss challenging cases.

\Requirements:
\To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related field, have an understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and Best Interest Principles, demonstrate experience in conducting risk assessments, and possess strong communication skills.
