Family Support Therapist

Clinical role at a Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre providing support to families, carers, kin and supporters of those experiencing mental ill health and/or substance abuse challenges.
">The centre offers support to families and communities across the region. The Clinician role will provide supportive therapeutic interventions and work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote the wellbeing of carers and families affected by mental ill health and/or substance use.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment and intervention for families, carers, kin and supporters of those experiencing mental ill health and/or substance abuse challenges.
- Deliver wholistic therapeutic support in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to address the needs of carers and families.
- Support carers through ongoing challenges and help guide them on how to support their community effectively.
Champion the voice of carers, family members, supporters and kin, working collaboratively with colleagues who have lived experience within the program.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Clinical assessment and intervention experience.
- Ability to align with values such as courage, integrity, respect, accountability and working together.
- Solution-focused approach and commitment to supporting carers and families affected by mental ill health and/or substance use.
- Experience collaborating with lived experience teams.
This role is part time (0.6 FTE), fixed term until 30/08/2026. You will receive $103K p/a (pro rata) plus superannuation and salary packaging. Additionally, you will be required to work evening and Saturday shifts on a rotating roster across the team.
