We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Officer to join our team at the Children's Cancer Institute. As a Research Officer, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of childhood cancer and developing new treatments to improve the lives of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in embryonal cancer therapy and prevention, including single cell RNA sequencing and experimental work.
- Develop and implement novel combination therapies and prevention strategies.
- Produce high-quality publications and present research data at conferences and seminars.
- Train and supervise students, and comply with regulatory guidelines and Institute policies.
- PhD in a relevant scientific medical field.
- Experience in molecular and cellular biology, single cell profiling, and animal models.
- Strong bioinformatics skills and advanced computer skills.
- Ability to design and conduct experiments independently and in a team environment.
