Remote Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to provide dialysis treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities across Western Australia.
This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff in a culturally safe environment.
- Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote WA communities, with travel and accommodation covered by the employer.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
- Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
- An unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore some of Australia's most breathtaking remote landscapes.
- Qualification/s and minimum 2 years of haemodialysis nursing experience.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Current National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
- Unrestricted driver's license (to drive in WA).
- Up-to-date immunisation status, including COVID-19 (2 doses + 1 booster), Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG, Influenza, and Pertussis.
- Fully paid locum placements.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support.
