Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to deliver exceptional primary healthcare services across remote regions.

This role is ideal for a GP who values working in cross-cultural environments, thrives on community engagement, and is committed to equity in healthcare access.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality clinical consultations and develop personalized care plans
  • Support accurate Medicare billing through health assessments and care arrangements
  • Maintain detailed and organized clinical records using digital systems
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices
  • Supervise medical students or registrars as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fully registered medical practitioner with AHPRA certification
  • Experience in primary healthcare with a commitment to culturally respectful practice
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Competence in digital health platforms and electronic record-keeping systems
  • Advanced skills in emergency medicine, obstetrics, or rural generalist disciplines (desired)
  • Medicare billing expertise (advantageous)
  • Current C-class driver's license and willingness to travel by 4WD or light aircraft
  • Eligibility for WA Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
