Remote Healthcare Specialist

We seek experienced and passionate Registered Nurses or Nurse-Midwives to join our multidisciplinary health team in a remote area clinic.
- Collaborate with medical officers, program staff, Anangu staff, and other health professionals to deliver high-quality primary healthcare services.
- Treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, manage computerised recalls, and conduct patient follow-up care.
- Child health monitoring and immunisations, administer adult and COVID-19 vaccinations across all age groups.
- Deliver patient health education, assess and refer social welfare issues, conduct public health screenings for communicable diseases.
- Manage antenatal and postnatal care, support job-specific education for training Anangu staff, and perform day-to-day clinic administration tasks.
The successful candidate will have recent acute medical experience and be passionate about delivering equal quality care to diverse populations. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate within a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary health team.
Additionally, the candidate must undergo a Police Check and a Working With Children Check, hold a manual driver's licence, and have familiarity with 4WD vehicles.
