About the Role

This is a challenging position that requires an individual with expertise in occupational health and safety. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing risk management policies, conducting workplace inspections, and investigating incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and evaluating risk management policies and programs to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Training employees in occupational health and safety procedures and monitoring compliance.
  • Conducting workplace inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks.
  • Investigating workplace incidents and preparing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in developing and implementing occupational health and safety management systems.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years' full-time experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and compliance requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing occupational health and safety management systems.
