Compliance Leadership Opportunity

As a key member of our compliance team, you will provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the successful onboarding of our subcontractors in line with safety standards.

  • Conduct periodic documented safety and compliance inspections including review of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Monitor corrective activities to ensure risks are eliminated, isolated or minimised and maintain various registers and reporting requirements of the WHS Management System.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness requirements such as first aid, emergency wardens, emergency procedures and fire safety compliance at corporate sites and display homes.
  • Implement initiatives to reduce the risk of injury and discomfort to workers, including test & tag/ergonomic checks.
  • Assist with the development and execution of the annual safety plan, including facilitating WHS induction and training to enhance safety awareness.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act and Standards, including the development and implementation of WHS management systems, policies and procedures.
  • Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to continually improve processes and a positive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with high-level communication, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Experience working in a similar role, ideally with experience using LinkSafe.
